Park City, UT – May 16, 2025 – Summit Events, a leading destination management company (DMC) in Utah, is thrilled to announce the addition of three talented individuals to its expanding team. Sasha Koller and Renee Podber join as Program Managers, and Melodie Lyman Smith will serve as the new Operations Coordinator. These strategic hires underscore Summit Events’ commitment to delivering exceptional and locally-inspired experiences for their clients in the stunning landscapes of Park City, Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah.
Sasha Koller brings a wealth of experience in event sales and planning, honed through her time with Summit Events’ DMC Network partner Accent Indy, and subsequent roles in Utah’s renowned hospitality sector, including a prominent ski resort and a local nonprofit. Her diverse background encompasses a wide array of events, from corporate gatherings to weddings.
Renee Podber, a Park City resident since 2020, leverages her artistic and film background to bring creative problem-solving to event production. Her passion for collaboration and curating memorable, high-quality experiences was cultivated during her time producing events for a prestigious restaurant group. Renee is also actively involved in the local community, helping to plan the annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival.
Melodie Lyman Smith, a lifelong Utah resident, brings a strong focus on people and adventure to her role as Operations Coordinator. Her hospitality journey includes experience as a travel director, staffing manager and operations specialist, known for her person-first approach and ability to connect with both staff and clients.
